Women have always played significant roles in every move of God since the world began. He didn't have to make the woman the only creature compatible and comparable to man but He did!
All through Scriptures whenever God wanted to do a new thing, He sought for a woman, with or without an issue, and strategically locates her to fulfill destiny. Hannah was such a woman. She had an issue. She was barren. But Hannah chose to pray, and her prayer moved the hand of God, so much so that Samuel, the fruit of her prayer heralded the move of God that established the Davidic Covenant of which we are beneficiaries.
Mary was different. She had no issue. She was beautiful, a virgin, and engaged to be married. Her story changed when the Angel Gabriel appeared to her with an assignment she could never have envisaged. She did not understand what God was about to do but she chose to obey. Her obedience brought her shame in the short run but ultimately, she was the blessed amongst women.
Today, we perceive that we are at the brink of a major move of the Spirit of the Lord on the earth. We can feel it. We can sense it. We can perceive the sweet aroma of His Glory about to be released in His body. And as it is customary with God, we know that He seeks and is searching for women who will say to Him ?behold your hand- maiden let it be done to me according to your word".
To this end, we are poised to raise an army of women who will be equipped and positioned to accomplish the Purpose of God for their lives, family, the body of Christ and this generation.
Our goal is to become women, who are not duty-driven, emotion-driven, culture-driven, circumstance-driven, but driven by God's eternal purpose.
